THE LIBRARY OF THE MONASTERY IN WITTEM (NL) “Enough words have been exchanged” In this beautiful library in the very south of the country I had the opportunity to create experimental art installations. Very important for me was a close connection with books, the Catholic history of the library, and it’s function of cultural centre nowadays. I created great banners (all printed on the paper of old books) with the 9 greek muses, banners with the symbols of the world religions, banners symbolising the well organized world and the world of desire, “tweet” banners with quotations of well known authors and philosphers, an installation made from an old photo portrait of librians and an installation titled  “The End of the Printed Book” The exhibition “Enough words have been exchanged” (inspired by Goethes Faust) took place in October-November 2014 (together with my companion in art Gerd Lebjedzinski who made for this occasion totally other kind of work on the same theme)
